The central vocational school on Linke Wienzeile in Vienna-Margareten is surrounded by police cars in the morning hours. The students hide in the classes and peer out of the windows in fear. In the videos of a “Krone” reader reporter you can see how students barricade themselves in the classrooms. To do this, they use everything they have available, such as chairs and tables. Meanwhile, the Cobra task force and the police storm the school. A police tank also drives up. The school in Margareten is currently being searched floor by floor. The possible sighting of a man or a student with a firearm and protective vest was the reason for the morning disturbance.
