December begins and Niantic takes the opportunity to share with hunters the program of activities planned for the coming days on Monster Hunter Now. The program of announced events includes dedicated hunting weekends as well as the arrival of special quests.
Events for December 2023 on Monster Hunter Now
Major Update: Freezing Blasts
The first major update since the launch of the title, it marks the arrival of two new types of weapons and four new monsters from December 7.
A new special quest will allow you to discover Radobaan, Banbaro, Barioth and Zinogre for the first time. Once the urgent quests are completed, it will be possible to meet Radobaan, Banbaro and Barioth on the field. Zinogre will only show up again at the next event. Zinogre’s Assault.
Qualily Special Quests
Several time-limited event quests that will reward hunters with the materials necessary to improve equipment such as mason insects, monster bones, dragonite or even zenny.
Event dates and times:
Qualily’s special quests will be available from Friday, December 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at midnight.
Hunt Zinogre during the Zinogre Offensive
Zinogre will not appear on the ground but it will be possible to hunt it using a new method available during the update.
Event dates and times:
The Zinogre Offensive will be available from Friday December 15, 2023 to Sunday December 17, 2023.
A good year of hunting
Hunters will once again be able to welcome the Rathian Sakura and the Black Diablos. This will also be an opportunity to obtain exclusive equipment and complete quests to earn piles of zenny.

A Good Year of Hunting will be available from Saturday December 23, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. to Monday January 8, 2024 at 11:00 p.m.
