Netflix is preparing something very heavy for the month of May 2024 with many films and the return of one of its best series. Here’s what awaits you next month.
Every month, Netflix and its comrades Disney+ or even Prime Video are stocked up with new releases. Films and series, new or not, are arriving in packs of ten on SVOD platforms. As the month of April draws to a close, all eyes are now focused on the month of May, which we hope will already be sunnier. If we don’t yet know all of the programs that will arrive next month on Netflix, here are all the releases already confirmed for next month.
All Confirmed Netflix Releases for May 2024
In April, Netflix released several big cartridges like the series Parasyte The Gray or Rebel Moon Part 2 to recite nobody else but them. In May, the release schedule will once again be busy. For the moment, it is mainly films that have been announced, some of which are particularly anticipated such as Atlas, a sci-fi blockbuster starring Jennifer Lopez. We will also note other big feature films like Miss Sloane worn by the excellent Jessica Chastain or even Knock at the Cabin
Obviously several Netflix series will also be there, especially the highly anticipated return of one of the biggest series on the platform: The Bridgerton Chronicles which will release its third season next month. For the rest, we will find a slightly sexy comedy series, Doctor Climaxwhich will make us follow a doctor who finds himself a sex columnist somewhat in spite of himself to make ends meet.
Netflix films for May 2024
For the first Netflix films of May 2024, the platform is surrounded rather well with Miss Sloane, the latest feature film by M. Night Shyamalan, the biopic Bohemiam Rhapsody on the group Queen, and even Atlas. But there’s more with the animated film Thelma the Unicorn which promises to make young ones laugh, but which will perhaps also surprise parents. We follow a pony named Thelma who will transform into a unicorn, and who will perhaps finally reach her dream of becoming a star. And since we’re in the anime, don’t miss the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 available on May 1, 2024.

Netflix series for May 2024
On the day of the release of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film, Netflix will also offer episodes of season 1 of the animated series. If you’re a fan of the original Japanese work, it’s hard to miss it. It’s one of the biggest phenomena of its kind with One Piece & others. Season 1 of Garôden: The Way of the Lone Wolf also promises a show rich in muscular scenes. We will follow a martial arts expert as he participates in a perilous, and completely illicit, combat tournament. That’s all ? No.
The highlight, awaited by millions of subscribers, is the launch of The Bridgerton Chronicle season 3. It will again be a question of romantic relationships within an aristocratic universe. Raising Voices or Ni Una Más in its original version, a Spanish teen series, arrives and will talk about a sensitive subject with the story of a sexual assault in a high school.

Netflix also has documentaries and reality TV shows. If you want to discover the past of Man, The Secrets of Neanderthals is for you. Conversely, if you want something more casual, the firm with the red N is launching the reality show Buying London. In it, Daniel Dagger and his real estate agency go in search of the most beautiful properties in the English capital.
