New Year’s Eve ends in clinic for Cody Simpson’s sister

Cody Simpson’s sister Alli had to be hospitalized on New Year’s Eve with broken cervical vertebrae and corona infection.
Alli Simpson, 23, Australian model and sister of Miley Cyrus’ ex Cody Simpson, 24, is lucky to be alive. The 23-year-old shared one on Instagram dramatic story about her New Year’s Eve. Accordingly, Simpson hit his head and broken his neck. And to top it all, she was also tested positive for Corona in the hospital.
To pictures that show her on a hospital bed and with a ruff, Simpson writes about the night of horror: “Sometimes life can take a big turn in the blink of an eye.” Accordingly, she had jumped upside down in a pool that was apparently not filled with water deep enough. According to her own statements, she hit her head and suffered two severe fractures in the area of the cervical spine.
“A New View on Life”
Fortunately, the Southport hospital found that her spinal cord had been spared. Therefore, no emergency surgery was necessary; instead, she will have to live in a cervical collar for four months. Simpson writes that she was extremely lucky to be alive and not paraplegic.
“The way I see it, four months are a drop in the ocean when it comes to the rest of my happy and healthy life,” the model continues. Thank you to every Guardian Angel who watched over you in the pool. Simpson now has a new perspective on life and will forever be grateful that it hasn’t gotten worse. Finally, she thanks family, friends and hospital staff and gives her 1.2 million followers the tip: “Never jump in anywhere if you don’t know how deep it is!”
Numerous fans wished them a speedy recovery and her older brother Cody also spoke up. The musician wrote in a comment: “I am so grateful that you are safe.”
