The Alpe d’Huez Festival unveils part of its official selection! It will be held from January 15 to 21, 2024, with Valérie Bonneton chairing the jury. Retirement Home 2 with Kev Adams will be screened in the opening.
At the start of each year, Alpe d’Huez becomes the unmissable event for French comedies. For its 27th edition, which will be launched on January 15, 2024, the international comedy film festival will invite Valérie Bonneton to chair the jury, surrounded by the actress and director Marilou Berry, the actor Guillaume de Tonquédec, the actress Eye Haïdara, and the comedian Finnegan Oldfield.
The Festival unveils the official 2024 selection of feature films in competition, all presented in preview at Alpe d’Huez and in the presence of the film crews. It will soon be supplemented by short films.

What is it about ? Delphine, a disillusioned literature teacher, has a well-established deal with her students: they leave her alone, she gives them 19s out of 20. To make matters worse, it is the Principal’s very zealous nephew who is chosen as an accompanist. To save the Latin option, and especially her comfortable situation, Delphine sees only one solution: cheat!

What is it about ? Marco, in his twenties, a little lost, helps out a friend for Valentine’s Day evening by replacing him at his workplace: an emergency center for broken elevators. Around 3 a.m., a young woman stuck in a cabin called him in the middle of an anxiety attack. Marco, who tries as best he can to reassure her by telephone, cannot find any technician available to send to her. Listening only to his (too) big heart, he ends up going to the scene of the breakdown himself, to this young girl who ended up intriguing him… Once there, unfortunately, disappointment: The elevator works and the young woman flies away. Thus begins an incredible quest in pursuit of this enigmatic stranger, in Paris, the night of February 14. And if this evening is supposed to be that of lovers, it will be an opportunity for Marco to experience a series of big problems…

What is it about ? Worn out by twenty-five years of living together, the couple formed by Xavier and Sophie seem out of breath. What is it about ?
