On Tuesday morning, a 62-year-old from Carinthia was taken to the Tamsweg hospital after a collision with a 37-year-old German in Lungau with severe rib injuries.
The Carinthian and the German were in the high-speed area of the Sonnalm descent, and there was contact at mid-level on the slope. The 62-year-old fell to the ground, sustained serious injuries to his ribs and was rescued by the piste rescue service and taken to the Tamsweg hospital.
