already a new update which fixes big bugs


Larian Studios has already deployed a new small update for Baldur’s Gate 3. It fixes a small batch of very annoying bugs, focusing in particular on crashing issues.

Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to attract hundreds of thousands of players every day, whether on PC or PS5. The greens will join the party very soon, but in the meantime Larian Studios continues to refine the experience of the one that has established itself as the RPG of the year. Shortly after the arrival of the fifth major patch bringing its share of new features and thousands of improvements and bug fixes, the studio is giving it another layer. A new update was deployed this weekend and it fixes some annoying issues that have appeared in recent days.

Baldur’s Gate 3 fixes a handful of issues

Larian Studios continues its follow-up to BG3. Three months after the release of its last CRPG, the Belgian studio is not yet finished. The Xbox Series version should appear during the Game Awards 2023, or a little after, but the developers are not forgetting the other versions. Proof of this is with the colossal update #5 which brought a whole bunch of new features and requested changes. Headlining, a new epilogue, two new game modes, a more intuitive inventory and lots of other things. A few days later, the teams deployed a new hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3. A small patch which primarily addresses crash issues, the user interface which disappears after a long rest in multiplayer, display issues for tooltips and some other additional concerns.

  • Fixed a save crash when someone casts a spell.
  • Fixed an issue where attacks on beasts and monsters were treated as a crime.
  • Fixed an issue where the UI would disappear when resting for a long time in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue with the Shadowheart Artifact not appearing in a certain Baldur’s Gate 3 cutscene.
  • Fixed an issue with several goblins who could not be spoken to.
  • Fixed an issue where tooltips for containers could not be pinned.
  • Fixed an overlap in special effects on the dice interface.
  • Fixed a bad defuse animation.
  • Fixed bugs with flickering black materials in the Ruined Village Depths.
  • Fixed an issue where the player avatar could move before they could stand up in the Tutorial.
  • Fixed a rare issue causing giant tooltips to appear.
  • Fixed missing data causing some crashes in Baldur’s Gate 3.
