(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom announces that it has inaugurated a site in Astana (Kazakhstan) aimed at producing and maintaining bogies for all types of rail vehicles throughout their life cycle.
As a reminder, a bogie is a kind of trolley located under a railway vehicle, on which the axles are fixed.
This new center stretches over more than 8,000 m² and required more than 15 ME of investment from Alstom.
The company assures that its bogies are ‘very reliable’, ‘designed to withstand different environmental and climatic conditions’ and ‘98% recyclable’.
