Alstom: medium-term objectives confirmed


(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom publishes preliminary financial information for the first half of the 2023/24 fiscal year, ending September 30, 2023.

During the first half of the 2023/24 fiscal year, Alstom recorded 8.4 billion euros in order intake, compared to 10.1 billion euros in the first half of the previous financial year.

The ‘orders to turnover’ ratio was 1.0 for the first half of this fiscal year, marking a slight improvement compared to the first quarter. ‘We confirm our outlook for an ‘orders to turnover’ ratio greater than 1 for the 2023/24 fiscal year,’ indicates the group.

The turnover amounted to 8.3 billion euros for the first half of this fiscal year, compared to 8.0 billion euros during the first half of the previous financial year. ‘We confirm our outlook for organic revenue growth for the 2023/24 fiscal year in excess of 5%.’

Free cash flow for the 2023/24 fiscal year is now expected to be in a range between (500) and (750) million euros.

Alstom confirms its medium-term objectives as announced in May 2023.
