(AOF) – Alstom announces the signing of a contract with the Royal Commission for AlUla for its experimental tram project in Saudi Arabia, worth more than 500 million euros. This turnkey, fully integrated tram system will consist of 20 state-of-the-art battery-powered Citadis B trainsets. The 22.4 km line will serve 17 stations and facilitate access to AlUla’s five historic districts.
