Alyssa Milano was involved in a traffic accident after her uncle reportedly lost consciousness while driving.
Alyssa Milano (48) was involved in a dramatic car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The driver of the accident vehicle was her uncle who, according to the US magazine “People”, suffered a heart attack while driving and therefore lost control of the vehicle. Alyssa is said to have remained unharmed while her uncle was taken to the hospital afterwards.
Milano brought the car to a stop
According to a California Highway Patrol press release, quoted from the “People”, Milano was sitting in the passenger seat of the Ford Edge SUV when her 63-year-old uncle passed out, drifted off the lane and crashed into another SUV. Milano reportedly stated that they felt an impact on their side of the car. “With the help of a Guardian Angel” she could have brought the Ford to a stop. According to “TMZ” Milano had given her uncle first aid until the first responders arrived.
It is not known how her uncle is doing at the moment. Milano, however, called on her followers on Twitter to use every opportunity to “protect the people we love”. “Get vaccinated. Wear masks. Lock up weapons. Learn first aid. Small, sensible actions. It’s not difficult to take care of each other, but it’s important,” she added.
