Alyssa Milano: On the mend after corona infection

Alyssa Milano's infection with the coronavirus has been months. But the actress is still struggling with the symptoms.

Alyssa Milano (47) was infected with the corona virus in April, and the actress has been giving regular updates on her health on Instagram since then. In her latest post, she writes: "I'm starting to feel better physically." She still takes aspirin every three days to thin her blood, plus fish oil, vitamins C, B, D, and zinc.

But the disease is not over. Milano still has occasional palpitations or forgets what to say. "Absolutely the worst part," she says. Nevertheless, the 47-year-old is "nowhere near as bad as it was a few weeks ago". "Sometimes I'm very scared, though," she writes. "Not about getting sick again, but about my loved ones getting sick. I don't want them to get this disease. It's a beast."

"I was scared to death"

In previous updates, Milano had reported, among other things, of her Covid 19-related hair loss. She had also lost her sense of smell. In one of the photos she published, she was also wearing a ventilator and described that it felt like an elephant was sitting on her chest. "I was scared to death," said the actress, who wanted to use these posts to warn her followers not to underestimate the disease – and continue to wear masks.
