If we know the first name of their first child, Alysson Paradis and Guillaume Gouix categorically refuse to reveal that of their second, born last year. Here’s why.

For his transition to directing, the soon to be forty-something actor brought together his friend Elodie Bouchez and his wife Alysson Paradise, sister of singer and actress Vanessa Paradis. The two lovebirds met in 2014 at the Lepic theater near the Moulin-Rouge, in Paris, where Guillaume Gouix had come to applaud friends. “We had already met in tricks of the trade, quicklyremembers the actor from Aix-en-Provence. But that night we fell in love.” A year later, the couple welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Marcusborn in time for the start of the school year, on September 1st.
Seven years later, the family is growing. It’s August 2022 and Alysson Paradis has just given birth toa second child. This time, the parents flatly refuse to reveal the name of their baby. “For the first, it had leaked… It was not our choice, explains Marcus’ mom. In itself, it’s not serious, but it creates a form of closeness that bothers me. We want to keep that to ourselves.” Discretion that suits Guillaume Gouix just as well : “Protecting our children from media coverage seems essential to me. They do not have to submit to our life choices.“However, it is difficult to escape the press when one bears the name of a very famous singer.”I don’t understand what’s interestingreplies Alysson Paradis. Alysson Paradis: “I just share what I like”
Alysson Paradise cultivates the art of discretion even on social networks where she only posts snapshots of her private life sparingly. She clarifies: “I never felt compelled to play Instagram’s game. I just share what I like. A show that upset me, a photo that touches me and, sometimes, a bit of my life as a mom. ‘Cause that’s who I am.” A role of mother who, she hopes, will be the pride of her children in a few years: “When a woman has children, we quickly have the impression that she will no longer be able to go on filming. Me, on the contrary, I want to focus on great projects so that, later, they will be proud of me.“. If it is still too early to know if his children will follow in his footsteps, we bet that they will discover fairly quickly that their parents were infected with the cinema and theater virus from an early age.
