2024 - "Am I going to tell you again?" Eric-Dupond-Moretti castigates the presenter of Complément d'Enquête

While the last issue of the program Complément d’Enquête was dedicated to him on Thursday January 20, 2022 on France 2, the Minister of Justice, Éric Dupond-Moretti, was very annoyed during his interview with the presenter of the program .

Former high-profile lawyer who became Minister of Justice, Éric Dupond-Moretti was the central character of the last issue of the showFurther investigation, broadcast Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the 2nd part of the evening on France 2. This is not the first time that the member of the government has seen the weekly magazine of the public channel devote a report to him. Last year, Éric Dupond-Moretti was already at the center of an investigation by the show’s teams. At the time, the one who was indicted for “illegal taking of interest“had received the former presenter of the program, Jacques Cardoze, within the Ministry of Justice.

The exchange between the two men had been very tense. Éric Dupond-Moretti had notably criticized his interlocutor for wanting to speak only of the charges against him, to the detriment of his actions as Minister of Justice. “We’re not going to come back 100 times! Unless you just want to talk about that? I passed six laws. We worked a lot. Unfortunately, we did not have – but it was not your angle – the time to develop everything that was done and I regret that. But you will come back next time“, said the former lawyer. A later, nothing has changed for Éric Dupond-Moretti, with the exception of his interlocutor. Indeed, Tristan Waleckx took over the presentation of Further investigation following the departure of Jacques Cardoze.

The Minister of Justice again gave an interview to the magazine of France 2. History repeated itself once again when Tristan Waleckx questioned his interlocutor about his indictment. “Sir, forgive me, last year, you see, you spent your time talking about this, you’re starting again this year. I had 25 texts voted on, you are not interested. I am indicted, everyone knows it. I followed the recommendations of my administration as all the Keepers of the Seals would have done. Am I going to tell you again? That’s enough, that’s enough!“, got annoyed Eric Dupond-Moretti.
