Amazon Games: another hard blow for the studio

Amazon Games is a publisher and developer, but its catalog is quite thin, so much so that John Smedley left the studio after six years without having his name in the credits of a production. Projects are on the way, but this week, that’s whatAmazon Games announcement of layoffs.

As studio vice president Christoph Hartmann explains, 180 employees are laid off fromAmazon Games. However, the publishing and development sectors appear to be little affected.
