Streaming service Amazon Prime Video, like Netflix or Apple TV+, has many an exciting series in store that whet the appetite for more with new seasons and captivate viewers over the long term. Subscribers can easily see whether the latest films and shows are actually well received by providers based on the current top 10.
When a series or new season really takes off, it often stays firmly in the top position and stays in the best list for a particularly long time. This is also the case with the second season of “Reacher”, which has been an absolute long-running hit in the German and global series charts on Amazon Prime Video since it started in December 2023.
The popular Prime series is about the former US soldier and investigator Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, who always fights for justice. At the beginning of Season 2, he receives a coded message and discovers that members of the 110th Brigade, his elite army group, have been mysteriously killed. So Reacher decides to take care of this matter and make those responsible pay for their actions.
The respective seasons of Reacher are based on the well-known book series by the British writer Lee Child, which so far comprises over 28 volumes and has also been featured in two less successful action films with Tom Cruise (“Mission Impossible” series, “Top Gun” series). were filmed.
“Reacher” fans can even look forward to a third season of the popular action series, which has already been confirmed and has entered production. The new episodes will deal with the story of the seventh Jack Reacher novel “The Janus Man” or the original “Persuader” and probably already in 2025 appear on Amazon Prime Video.
