(CercleFinance.com) – Amazon announces a doubling in size of its global relief center in Atlanta, Georgia, to help communities affected by natural disasters as hurricane season approaches.
The tech giant will donate one million critical relief supplies, increase logistical support and double storage space at the hub, which can quickly distribute relief kits to the United States and Caribbean countries.
The 20,000 cubic foot facility will pre-position shelter materials, hygiene supplies, medical equipment, cleaning and repair materials, as well as toys and household items, among others.
