AMD Ryzen 5600X at a glance
The AMD Ryzen 5600X is a mid-range CPU that not only cuts a fine figure in cheap gaming computers. The AMD processor has six cores with multithreading, i.e. twelve threads for processing tasks in parallel. The CPU clocks from 3.7 to 4.6 gigahertz and supports DDR4-3200 RAM. In terms of performance, the processor can even win against the i7-10700K in some benchmarks. In the CPU-intensive Total War: Warhammer II, for example, the Ryzen manages 25 fps more (107.1 fps in total), in The Division 2 at least 3 fps more (145 fps in total). Looking at the performance, the Ryzen 5 5600X is also exemplary in terms of power consumption. The maximum power consumption of the system is 147 watts. A cooler is included with the box version. As a rule, we have had good experiences with AMD fans, which is why you do not necessarily have to plan money for a cooler upgrade.
