AMD teases the imminent launch of the Ryzen 7000

The new range of processors from AMD could arrive earlier than expected and offer us a busy back to school.

If the source of the information is all the more official, note that AMD does not communicate as such on the release date of its Ryzen 7000 series processors.

An event around AM5 motherboards

On the other hand, the American clearly mentions a presentation around the new motherboards based on the X670E chipset. Integrated into a more global event called ” Meet the Expert », this presentation is aimed at AMD customers and this type of meeting generally follows the launch of new products.

In this case, we are obviously thinking of the launch of motherboards based on the X670E chipset, which will be the gateway to AMD’s AM5 platform. As you probably know, the AM5 platform is nothing but the basis of the Ryzen 7000 series.

More importantly, on the description of this presentation, we can note the following precision: “ Support the recent launch of AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors “. It’s hard not to understand that said CPUs will be launched ahead of this presentation.

A release around August 5?

Organized in Taiwan, the presentation will take place on August 5th and should notably allow to discover the motherboards of ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte and MSI. Manufacturers who have already mentioned their products around the X670 Extreme and X670 chipsets.

AMD, on the other hand, does not mention lower ranges such as B650 chipset-based motherboards. Also note that this possibility of an imminent launch of the Ryzen 7000 series is based on the description of the event, a description which could very well be erroneous.

Remember that AMD has not yet announced any firm launch date for its new processors. A few weeks ago, several rumors had mentioned a mid-September release following leaks from China.

Marketing its new range of Ryzen in August or September would certainly allow AMD to pull the rug from under Intel’s feet, but will still raise the question of the real availability of CPUs and, of course, their pricing.
