Since 2017, Amel Bent has joined the jury of The Voice. The singer illustrated herself in The Voice Kids, before joining the adult version of the tele-hook. But now, with each new episode the artist is the target of criticism on social networks. The reason ? Her outfits are often very expensive. Even more serious, Amel Bent is the victim of racist attacks as she revealed in the program La Face Katché, available on Yahoo France.
“When I get into the chair of The Voice and see the Saturday night comments on Twitter, I say to myself: “we still have a way to go”. Not everyone is ready to have an arab on the chair“, she launched. Among the most despicable messages she has received, Amel Bent remembers one:”I was told: “Go do The Voice in Algiers”.“She specifies that these kinds of reactions do not concern everyone,”but there is a part of the population which is not ready, which is afraid.“
A new baby for 2022
Fortunately for Amel Bent, a very beautiful event will come to brighten up her year 2022: last October, in the show Sept à Huit, she revealed that she was expecting her third child. “That’s it, I just passed the famous first trimester and I normally have a baby to be born. On the other hand, I am very attentive to my body. I saw the baby, he’s doing great, but I’ll be apprehensive until the end“, she said. Indeed, before this new pregnancy, the 36-year-old woman had a miscarriage.
She is already the mother of two little girls born in 2016 and 2017. But before taking a well-deserved rest, the singer will have to turn blind auditions for The Voice 2022.
