This Saturday March 19, TF1 broadcast a new number of The Voice. But during the show, Amel Bent, one of the coaches of the program, had a daring gesture which surprised a lot, but also amused the internet users.
For more than a month, the new season of The Voice resumed on TF1. But as the blind auditions continue, the show’s coaches are starting to take notice. The teams are almost full, but there are only a few places left for Florent Pagny, Amel Bent, Vianney and Marc Lavoine to welcome new talents. So over the shows, each of the jurors seem more and more demanding, even if it means letting go of some very beautiful voices. This annoys more and more Internet users. They go on strike without turning around?”, “It’s great and no coach has turned around”, “They forgot the concept of the show, the coaches or what?”, tweeted some viewers on March 5, for example.
Criticisms to which Amel Bent wished to respond on his Instagram account: “I lived it, and yet, even looking, it’s frustrating not to go on certain talents! But we must not forget that The Voice is more than one hundred and thirty talents, almost all of them incredible… You have fourteen places in your team… the calculation is simple, if you turn around every time that sing low, you play on a Saturday night and then you watch the others for two and a half months!”

And this Saturday, March 19, it is for a completely different reason that the singer stood out on the set of The Voice. Dressed in a tight dress and wearing stiletto heels, the coach went on blind auditions for several hours. An outfit that has therefore ended up becoming a weight for the interpreter of My philosophy. In effect, pregnantthe latter regularly complains of pain in his feet because of his pumps, and this Saturday, she had had enough. Amel Bent therefore simply decided to take off her heels. And as she joined a young singer on stage to thank her for choosing to be part of her team, the singer let loose: “I’m sorry, I took off my shoes because I have feet… They look like pain au chocolat”, she launched. Words that made Internet users laugh a lot, who did not fail to underline the relaxation of Amel Bent in the show.
