The victims of the triple homicide perpetrated in Amiens and discovered Friday in an apartment were two sisters aged 25 and 26 and the son of the eldest, aged 3. The public prosecutor of the city, Alexandre de Bosschère, announces this Saturday that the suspicions relate to his spouse, father of the child. At a press conference, he clarified that the apartment was occupied by the older sister, her spouse and their child.
Since the day before, we know that the spouse has been “hospitalized following a traffic accident” Thursday, whose circumstances “indicate that it is probably a voluntary collision, within the framework of a suicide attempt”, continued the prosecutor. “His vital prognosis is no longer engaged but he will not be able to be heard for several days.” The 48 year old man “Moreover, at the time of his hospitalization, showed signs of serious injuries which seem to indicate that he had attempted suicide a few hours earlier by other means”, he added. Considering these elements and its “proven presence” in the flat, “the suspicions converge on him”.

Moreover, “The autopsy operations began Saturday morning” and “the analyzes of the samples taken on this occasion will follow at the beginning of the week”. According to the first elements, the three victims “showed signs of asphyxiation”, whose origin is not determined at this stage. The two women also showed signs of beatings, and the youngest was wearing “a trace of a stab wound, non-lethal, at the level of the neck”.
Death is not at this stage “not dated” precisely, but it is “several hours or days earlier” at the time of discovery. The emergency services intervened after the report of a relative who was worried about not having heard from “for a few days”.
Known to the police and justice services for acts of forgery, fraud or concealed work, the suspect “has never been convicted of acts of violence”, said the prosecutor. The parquet floor has no “not found traces of complaints, ongoing investigations or reports to associations for acts of domestic violence”.
