This is how the reunion of the ex-couple went in a live show

At the fundraising gala “A Heart for Children”, presenter Johannes B. Kerner reunited the ex-couple Amira and Oliver Pocher in front of the camera. However, reciting the donation number together went a bit wrong.

More than 80 celebrities from show, sport, business and politics helped collect over 21 million euros in donations for “A Heart for Children” on Saturday evening. During the live show on ZDF there was also a brief encounter between the quarreling couple Amira (31) and Oliver Pocher (45), which was eagerly awaited.

Amira came alone, Oliver and Sandy in a double pack

It was known in advance that the Pochers and his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden (40) would be on the donation phones – as would Verona Pooth (55), Sophia Thomalla (34) and her friend Alexander Zverev (26). Would the trio, who have been in the headlines for weeks, even come together? However, there was no such conciliatory appearance shortly before the festival of love. Amira Pocher walked the red carpet about half an hour before her husband. “I’m doing very well, I’m warming up the carpet here,” she said in conversation with “Bild”. She wants to spend Christmas “hopefully contemplatively with my children”. She wants one thing above all: “peace.”

Oliver Pocher then came accompanied by his ex-wife Meyer-Wölden, with whom he also co-hosted the podcast “The Pochers!” continues. On the red carpet, in his usual manner, he teased his estranged wife, with whom he has two small sons. When asked about the “elephant in the room” he said: “Well, she’s wearing a bare midriff today, but Amira isn’t that fat.” He then emphasized that he had “no problem” with meeting her. He even offered her to travel to Berlin together. “For the sake of the environment. But she came solo.”

So while there was no encounter on the red carpet, it later took place live on television. At around 9 p.m., presenter Johannes B. Kerner (59) brought the ex-couple over. Both should recite the donation hotline together. When Oliver Pocher performed all the numbers himself, Amira commented: “It was clear…”. After all, the comedian diligently contributed to the donation amount: he jumped sportily to the side of tennis star Alexander Zverev during a table tennis duel with European champion Koharu Itagaki (13). The men earned 11,000 euros, which they will donate themselves.

Olaf Scholz presents the Golden Heart to Holocaust survivors

A total of 21,216,573 euros were raised that evening for the aid organization BILD helps eV “A Heart for Children”, which has existed for 45 years. During this time, more than 482 million euros have already flowed into over 22,700 projects. A special highlight was the awarding of the Golden Heart to Margot Friedländer (102) on December 9th. The Holocaust survivor and contemporary witness was honored for her fight against anti-Semitism. Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (65) presented her with the prize.
