As you well know, there are more and more video game adaptation projects, with more or less success, and often long waiting times before really discovering the result. Almost all the most popular licenses are going through it, including the most surprising ones, as reported variety this week.
The site reports that CBS Studios working on an animated series in the universe of Among Us, the famous multiplayer game with imposters having to kill crew members in a spaceship. The information was confirmed by the developers ofInnerslothand the production was entrusted to CBS Eye Animationa young studio to whom we owe Star Trek: Lower Decks, The Harper House And Star Trek: Prodigy. He will work with THE showrunner Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) and the animation studio titmouse (big mouse, Constable Elvis).
The scenario will a priori be directly based on the universe of the game, but we do not know yet if it will be inspired only by the shapeshifting aliens who want to taste crewmate without being spotted, or also gameplay, with suspicion between players, discussion phases to find the assassins and more. We also don’t yet know which broadcaster will offer this anime series. Among Usbut Paramount+which is part of the galaxy CBSwould be the most logical choice.
