Amy Schumer: That's why she renames her son

Apple, Blueberry, Raddix or Océane – Hollywood stars are often more than creative when it comes to choosing the names for their offspring. In the case of comedian Amy Schumer, however, the choice of name went really wrong – in the truest sense. Her little son has been called "Gene Attell" for eleven months, but that will change now. In the podcast "3 Girls, 1 Keith" the comedienne revealed that she had given her son the second name "Attell" because of her good friend Dave Attell. One day, however, Amy's mother noticed that "Gene Attell" sounds like "genital" in English.

And even though Amy Schumer is otherwise available for everyone to have fun, it is not uncommon for her to show up on Instagram in unfavorable moments; So that the little one does not later become the mockery of his classmates, Amy and her husband Chris Fisher decided to rename their son to Gene David Fisher.

On Instagram, the American can already joke about the name faux pas. Under a photo of herself and her husband, she writes: "Oh, as if you had never called your child a genital cleft."
