(Reuters) – Russian opposition figure Alexeï Navalny had written his memoirs before his death in detention in February, his widow Yulia Navalnaïa announced on X.

The autobiography will be published in several languages ​​on October 22, she said on the social network.

The opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin died on February 16 at the age of 47 in a penal colony in the Russian Arctic, where he was transferred in December to serve a prison sentence.
