The mention “Xbox Play Anywhere” has been added next to those which state that the title supports HDR10 and 4K Ultra HD, among others. This means that players who own a digital version of the game, whatever the medium, will be able to enjoy it on both Xbox and PC.
Thanks to this feature available at no additional cost, it is possible to resume your game while keeping your saves and achievements from one platform to another. Note that you must have Windows 10 or 11 installed on your PC for this to work. Note also that the physical versions of Starfield don’t support the Xbox Play Anywhere option, but we imagine PC gamers will mostly opt for a digital copy of the title.
