In a poignant tribute to rally and gymkhana legend Ken Block, Audi, in association with Hoonigan, the late driver’s production company, unveils the final episode of Electrikhana. It features the iconic driver behind the wheel of the Audi S1 ​​Hoonitron, a fully electric prototype.

The world of motorsport has been marked this year by the tragic death of Ken Block, a renowned driver known for his racing prowess.
gymkhana and rally, died in a snowmobile accident. His latest work, Electrikhana 2, produced in collaboration with Audi, highlights the Audi S1 ​​Hoonitron, an electric vehicle designed specifically for him. This clip, shot in Mexico, is a tribute to his talent.

Audi S1 ​​electric

Fans of Ken Block will have the opportunity to see him perform his driving performances and perform acrobatics aboard the Audi S1 ​​Hoonitron for the final time. This unique electric vehicle, custom-created for Ken Block by Audi Sport, is equipped with two electric motors and offers four-wheel drive, with a total power of 500 kW (680 hp).

The Audi S1 ​​also has a carbon fiber chassis and complies with safety standards established by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

After its appearance in the first episode of Electrikhana in August 2022, the S1 Hoonitron was refined in collaboration with the driver himself by reducing its weight, improving its handling and refining the simulation of gear changes. Unfortunately, all technical data remains kept secret for the moment.

The last appearance

In the first part of the series, Ken Block drifted through the streets of Las Vegas behind the wheel of the Audi S1 ​​Hoonitron, attracting more than 100 million viewers around the world on different platforms.

For this sequel, Electrikhana 2, filming took place in Mexico and focused on urban sequences including an airport or even a
spiral parking lot.

Working in collaboration with Audi Sport engineers, Ken Block brought his touch to the Audi S1, including a new livery and a specific device, which only an electric vehicle can benefit from.

In one scene, the front and rear axles of the Audi S1 ​​Hoonitron rotate in opposite directions, creating a large white cloud while the car remains stationary. A scene which reflects the spectacular style of the famous drifter and which was obviously appreciated by his admirers.
