Tuesday, October 19, 2021, the bill on health vigilance will be debated in the National Assembly. The government wishes to extend the health pass beyond November 15, until July 31, 2022. Whatever the outcome of the debates, there is still at least one month left with this pass which governs a good part of our lives. How about making it a fun accessory? This is what a group of friends offers. They unveiled QR code pimped as a retro accessory, like a Pokémon card for example.
Friends print QR Codes on PVC, much like a bank card. “We receive the QR code, we integrate it into the design, we print it and then we put it in an envelope, we write the address and we go to La Poste”, they simply detail, when the Huff Post asks them for their manufacturing of these sanitary passestarget = “_ blank”> not ordinary. All for 15 euros. The designs are reminiscent of cartoons and films from our childhood: Pokemon atmosphere, Olive and Tom Where Jurassic Park. The advantage according to the designers of these cards: no need to search for long minutes in the photos of your phone, and no more battery problem either. The idea is to make light a device that weighs in the daily life of the French since July 2021.

One downside, however: the passes are printed in PVC, that is to say plastic. The cards are therefore made of a light, solid… and polluting material, which will take hundreds of years to degrade once the QR code card is thrown in the trash. For their part, the creators of these cards prefer to claim the fact of creating new forms of interaction between people. It is true that we had missed it …
