After their on-off relationship in “Sex and the City,” Carrie and Aidan could still have a happy ending in “And Just Like That….”
Good news for all “Sex and the City” fans who have never quite gotten over the split between Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw: In the spin-off “And Just Like That…” the two seem to be celebrating their love comeback. interpret that new photos on the Instagram channel of leading actress Sarah Jessica Parker (57) on. Her character Carrie can be seen hugging kissing her ex Aidan (played by John Corbett, 61). The promising caption accompanying the nighttime footage from New York reads: “This is not an exercise”.
The official Instagram account of the HBO series published similar photos and wrote, “And just like that, Carrie is back on her toes.”
The fans, including numerous celebrities, are overjoyed. “I’m freaking out,” commented moderator Andy Cohen (54) on Sarah Jessica Parker’s post. “Never in my life,” added an incredulous Gwyneth Paltrow (50). Actress Rachael Harris (55) left a short “dead”.
Not the first photo together
A few weeks ago, fans were able to take a look at Carrie and Aidan’s reunion. A photo also published on Instagram showed Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett in their well-known series roles in the middle of a street in New York City. One detail caught the eye: the two were holding hands. “Psst. Don’t tell anyone,” the post said.
It is not yet clear when the new episodes will appear. Since March 2022 it has been clear that there will be a second season of “And Just Like That…”.
