Andor: where to see the Star Wars series?

The first three episodes of the Andor series, a new Star Wars series, will be available on September 21 on…

Fans of the Star Wars universe have to wait a little longer. Based on the Cassian Andor pilot seen in the movie RogueOneseries Andor will be available from September 21. For the occasion, Télé Star invites you to find out on which platform the series will be broadcast. And it is of course on Disney+ that it will be necessary to connect in a few days to discover the adventures of the character embodied by Diego Luna.

Series Andor is a prequel to the movie RogueOne since the events of the new event series signed Lucasfilms are five years before those of the film. The series is centered on the life of the hero Cassian Andor before his convoluted mission to the planet Scarif to retrieve the plans for the Death Star. The 12 episodes will tell how the rebellion was formed. But let Star Wars fans get ready: this series will be very different from what has been done before in the universe created by Georges Lucas.

Andor, a “completely realistic, passionate and dramatic story”

Tony Gilroy, creator of the Andor series, has indeed explained why he chose to make a work very different from what has been done in the past. “I wanted to do something about real people. There was all this hype around the royal family and it was great. But there are billions of other beings in the galaxy, there are plumbers, beauticians, journalists! What is their life like? Rebellion affects them as much as anyone else. Why not use the Star Wars universe to create a totally realistic, passionate and dramatic story?”he says.
