A little surprise before the hour for users of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. While it was expected for the month of December, the stable update Android 13 (One UI 5.0) is coming this November on mobile in Europe. This version of Android 13 for the Galaxy A53 5G comes with the A536BXXU4BVJG firmware, therefore bringing the One UI 5.0 interface to the smartphone.
Mobile owners can install the Android 13 update now by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. The update is expected to roll out to all European countries soon, and in the next few days to all global markets. Apart from some cosmetic changes, the update is also advised to improve the performance and security of the terminal.
A still attractive Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
Launched in April 2022, the Galaxy A53 5G is a compelling mid-range smartphone. It benefits from a better controlled photo component than that of its predecessor, the Galaxy A52. There is also a well-made AMOLED screen, IP67 certification and very good finishes. A positive assessment which still suffers from the disappearance of the jack and a less exciting autonomy than on the old version. One last point which can also evolve with updates, such as the one offered with Android 13.
