If you type a lot on your smartphone, you know that this can be really exhausting in the long run. This is not only due to the small screen, but often also to the common keyboard apps, which are often not particularly well optimized for mobile typing.

Typewise Keyboard: Type faster thanks to a new type of keyboard
With the two-thumb keyboard specially developed for mobile writing, Typewise wants to make typing on Android smartphones or iPhones much easier. Their keys are not only larger, but also more ergonomic thanks to their hexagonal shape. As the name suggests, the keyboard is operated using both thumbs, so that after a few days of getting used to it, you not only type faster, but also make fewer mistakes.
In addition, the app has some useful text editing tools. Among other things, you can remove entire texts at once with one click or delete a complete sentence with a swipe to the left. A swipe to the right restores the sentence just deleted. Accordingly, Typewise not only increases your typing speed, but also simplifies the correction of errors.
However, the setting options in the free version of the app are limited and there are no personalized auto-correction suggestions. These additional functions and options are only available in the paid Pro version, which you can activate either as a subscription or for a one-off payment of 24.99 euros.
