“Eternals” star is in self-isolation

Several of the stars from “Eternals”, including Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, are currently in self-isolation for safety reasons.
After the premiere of the new superhero blockbuster “Eternals”, several stars of the film are in self-isolation. This is reported, among other things, by the US industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter”.
Four of the stars of the film, Angelina Jolie, 46, Salma Hayek, 55, Gemma Chan, 38 and Lauren Ridloff, 43, should attend Elle magazine’s “Women in Hollywood” gala this year, they said their appearances at short notice. Editor-in-chief Nina Garcia (56) said at the beginning of the event that the actresses would not be there as a precautionary measure. “These superheroes are now in super isolation,” she said on stage.

Jolie had recently shown herself at the film premiere with five of her six children. There were Maddox (20), Zahara (16), Shiloh (15) and the twins Vivienne and Knox (13). Hayek, Chan and Ridloff also attended the premiere.
A Disney spokesman confirmed to “The Hollywood Reporter” in a statement that the company had learned that the stars “may have been exposed to Covid-19”. It is not known whether this could have been at the event. Although all actors were tested negative, as a precautionary measure, the cast will currently not attend appointments in person, but in virtual form.
“Eternals” will be in theaters on November 3rd. In addition to Hayek, Jolie, Ridloff and Chan, Richard Madden (35), Kumail Nanjiani (43) and Kit Harrington (34) can be seen in the superhero action. The film was directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao (39).
