Her daughter Vivienne supports her on Broadway

Angelina Jolie is supported in her task as a musical producer by her daughter Vivienne as a volunteer assistant.
Angelina Jolie (48) has a new personal assistant – her daughter Vivienne (15). As the online portal “Entertainment Tonight” learned, the Hollywood actress will be supported by her 15-year-old biological daughter in a planned Broadway project. Accordingly, Jolie acts as a producer for the musical “The Outsiders”. Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is working on the project as her mother’s volunteer assistant and will also be involved in the production of the Broadway play.
In a statement, Angelina Jolie told the online portal that her daughter reminded her strongly of her own mother, Marcheline Bertrand. “Viv reminds me of my mother because she doesn’t care about being the center of attention but about being a support for other creative people,” said the actress, who has six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt (59).
“Vivienne loves musicals”
Her 15-year-old daughter thinks a lot about theater and takes her job very seriously. “She works hard to do her best,” Jolie said. A source also told ET that Angelina has been taking her daughter to the theater since she was a little girl. “Vivienne loves musicals,” the source says.
Earlier this year, mother and daughter attended the world premiere of “The Outsiders” in San Diego and both fell in love with the musical. The two then met with Susan E. Hinton (75), the writer on whose book the play is based. This inspired Angelina Jolie to become active on Broadway as a producer of the play.

The 1967 book deals with the conflict between two rival gangs that differ in their social status. The “Greasers” come from the working class, while the “Socs” belong to the upper class. The story is told from the first-person perspective of the young protagonist Ponyboy.
It’s not the first time Angelina Jolie has worked with one of her children. According to ET, her sons Maddox, 22, and Pax, 19, have been involved as assistant directors in the upcoming movie Without Blood, which she is directing. Jolie also has children Zahara (18), Shiloh (17) and Vivienne twin brother Knox (15).
