As the Pink October campaign was launched, some celebrities decided to publicize their fight against breast cancer.

As every year since 1994, France Le mois d’October has launched its annual Pink October campaign. Affected by cancer, some celebrities are mobilizing to raise public awareness of breast cancer prevention. Like Evelyne Dhéliat who returned this Saturday, October 1 on the day she learned she was affected by the disease : “It’s something very violent. (…) There is the shock when you are told about it. So it’s true that I was a public figure and that I thought it was part of my privacy. And I didn’t want to put the problems I had on others.”

These stars who decided to reveal their fight against breast cancer

Claudia Tagbo has also been affected by the disease. It was at the age of 30 that she had to face breast cancer. It is in particular thanks to humor and to those close to her that she was able to hold on. Shannen Doherty has chosen to publicize her fight. The American star revealed his chemotherapy sessions and his fight against the disease. As for Angelina Jolie, she had largely confided in her preventive double mastectomy. To this list are also added the names of Jane Fonda, Brigitte Bardot, Kylie Minogue…
