It’s hard news for Anja Zeidler (27). The influencer reveals in conversation with “Schweizer Illustrierte”that she has a tumor. Six months ago, the Lucerne woman felt a lump in her left breast. She shows it to her gynecologist, who only suspects hardened tissue. But Zeidler listens to her gut feeling and gets a second opinion. «I know my body best. I knew that there was something that didn’t belong there, ”she explains.
The second doctor believes the lump may be related to her previous silicone implants, which she had removed in 2017. The capsules that had formed around the silicone remained in it. Your doctor therefore assumes that it is remnants of it. When Zeidler asks her surgeon at the time, he advises her to have an MRI or a biopsy.
Biopsy provided information
During the MRI, a third doctor discovered that the lump was supplied with blood. It’s under the chest by the rib, very close to the heart. A biopsy is needed to clarify what it is. When the doctor tells Zeidler about the risks, she becomes scared. “I called my mother crying.” Because during the biopsy, your heart or your lungs could be injured. Nevertheless, she decided to do it.
Then the waiting started. «I really had a good feeling. I thought that it might come from the stress I have as a mother and workaholic, ”says Zeidler. Then after nine days the shock. The doctor tells her on the phone that she has a tumor. “All he knew was that the tumor was benign,” recalls Anja Zeidler. He also explained to her that, although tumors of this type do not spread, they can grow aggressively into the tissue around them and that sometimes chemotherapy or radiation is necessary.
Post pregnancy tumor
The Lucerne woman had to deal with that first. She previously told her subscribers on Instagram about her biopsy. But she kept the result to herself for the time being: “It is extremely important to me to address health issues and to be honest and open with my fans. But first of all I had to find out for myself what exactly this tumor is and how my family and I should deal with it. “
A specialist gave her detailed information about her illness. “First of all, he congratulated me. Only one or two women fall ill with such a tumor every year, ”she says. It is not yet known why such tumors occur. However, observations show that the tumors often form two years after pregnancy. That would fit with Anja Zeidler. She and her partner Ancic (24) have a daughter Jela (1).

According to her doctor, there are two options for removing the tumor. Either they can wait a few more weeks and try to downsize it through a healthy lifestyle or even get rid of it. If that doesn’t work, the tumor should be removed by surgery.
Zeidler now wants to try it in a natural way. She already has an appointment with her naturopath on Monday. “I want to know what the tumor says on a psychosomatic level and whether we can do something with nutrition and naturopathy,” said the influencer.
