Anna Maria trouble does not reveal much about her life with a child. Now the mother-of-a-daughter is making an exception and sharing rare insights into her parenting methods.
Anna Maria Mühe, 37, made her breakthrough as an actress in 2002 in the film “Big Girls Don’t Weep” alongside Karoline Herfurth, 38. Today she is one of the most successful film and television stars in Germany. From January 5, 2022, Anna Maria trouble can be seen as a murderous undertaker in the Netflix series “Totenfrau” – but her ten-year-old daughter is not allowed to look at her, as she reveals in an interview with “Bild”. “Absolutely not, even if you couldn’t see what I’m doing explicitly or what’s being done to the kidnapped girls,” he says. And she gives even more insights into her upbringing methods.
Anna Maria trouble: “I am a mother lion”
Anna Maria Mühe’s daughter celebrated her tenth birthday in November, as the 37-year-old proved with a snapshot of her girl on Instagram. The year before, Anna Maria trouble shared a mother-daughter recording with her fans. Unusual, because the actress actually keeps her offspring out of the public eye.
The Berliner lives separately from her daughter’s father. She describes her life as a single mother as follows: “I’m a lion mother. If someone were to do something to my child, I would always stand in front of it, no matter what. But every mother does that, so I don’t think it’s that special.” However, Anna Maria trouble does not describe herself as a helicopter mother.
Helicopter mothers are alien to the single mother of a daughter
She finds helicopter mothers exhausting. The 37-year-old is annoyed when she sees that parents keep an eye on their children all the time and don’t let them do anything on their own. This kind of upbringing is alien to her. “I find it irritating that a whole generation grew up with a lot of freedom and an anti-authoritarian upbringing and is now limiting itself and its children so much again,” said the single mother in an interview with “Bild”. “Fortunately, I have friends, who all tick and think in the same way – also when it comes to educational issues. That’s helpful.” But the others still judge: “I think that as a non-helicopter mother you are looked at a lot more often – at least in Prenzlauer Berg.”
Still, the actress wants to spend as much time with her daughter as possible. “We enjoy being at home and do a lot with her or my friends and with my family. We maintain as many social contacts as possible. I think that’s important,” said the Berliner once in an interview with “Bild der Frau”.
