Her dream has finally come true: Former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate Anna Wilken is expecting her first child. There is a rocky road behind her.
A picture that says “more than a thousand words” is posted by Anna Wilken, 25, on her Instagram channel on the evening of November 3, 2021. The ex-GNTM participant and her husband Sargis Adamyan, 28, are parents for the first time. Years of hope and fear lie behind the couple. The model had a hard time getting pregnant because of her endometriosis. “What should we say, the artificial insemination worked. We are just incredibly grateful and look forward to continuing this journey,” Anna comments on a photo that shows her overjoyed with a positive pregnancy test.

Anna has been trying to have a child for three years. She shared her ordeal almost brutally honestly in all its severity with her followers: inside on Instagram. “Primarily, I want to create sensitivity for this topic and that doesn’t start with strangers, but at the family table. When I had a baby in my arms at a family celebration last year, I had to listen to ‘Suits you, Anna!’ everyone knows about our history and we do everything we can to make our wish for children come true. Such questions are simply insensitive and not considered, “she explained her openness in an interview with GALA in May 2021. Now luck is finally on your side.
“Right now we’re just enjoying the moment”
“Thank you for having hoped, feared and empathized with us,” she wrote to her fans. She is still in the early stages of pregnancy. “Many only announce their luck from the 12th week or even later and there is no right or wrong. Of course, I myself know only too well what can happen … And if we’re honest, we all never know how life plays. ” Anna has tried several times to have a baby with the help of artificial insemination. Again and again she experienced setbacks. “But right now we’re just enjoying the moment and our hearts are filled with love! In this sense: ‘Happiness is the only thing that doubles when you share it.'”
