Antonia from Tyrol: That's why she throws her Ballermann career down

Singer Antonia from Tyrol says farewell to Ballermann. After 20 years in Mallorca, the 40-year-old apparently wants a change.

For 20 years Antonia from Tirol (40, "1000 dreams far") heated up the party tourist on the Ballermann. Every season she performed two to three times a week in the "Bierkönig" and "Oberbayern" restaurants. But that is now forever over, as the singer of the "Bild" newspaper revealed. The drop on the Ballermann was sucked. She also wants to change her show concept.

"In my 20th anniversary year with a heavy heart, I decided to end my live performances at Ballermann," says the Austrian musician, whose real name is Sandra Stumptner. In any case, they don't believe that appearances will be possible there in the foreseeable future. During the corona-related compulsory break, she came to the decision: "I believe that this place has had its best time. It will never be the same again there," the 40-year-old sums up.

Leather hot pants instead of dirndls

This summer should have been her honor lap with a few last appearances for Antonia from Tirol. Neither now nor at a later point in time will it become something: "But I have no desire to make up this farewell at some point, because I want to leave that behind me now. So I'm just going to end it now without a farewell," said the singer. As soon as possible, appearances will mainly take place in Germany and Austria – and only with a band.

For these appearances, Antonia from Tyrol changed her look and her sound: "My music becomes more real and rock. I swap the dirndl for the leather hot pants."
