As a defender, Catalyst will be able to reinforce (or block, it depends) the doors with his Barricadeto create stinging areas on the ground and raise a veil of darkness in front of his attackers.
- Passive Ability – Reinforcement : Using his unique abilities to manipulate ferrofluids, Catalyst can block access and reinforce doors, giving his squad time to regroup and take the enemy by surprise.
- Tactical Ability – Piercing Tape : Catalyst is able to generate ferrofluids to pierce nearby enemies with a piercing tape system, while remaining immune to enemy spikes.
- Ultimate Ability – Ironback : Slow down your enemies’ progress and block their vision with Ironback, Catalyst’s ultimate ability. Catalyst can erect a permeable wall of ferrofluids that slows and partially blinds enemies who pass through it for a short time. You can use this one-of-a-kind barrier to divide the battlefield or respawn your teammates in a safe place.
