Dissidence season in Apex Legends, what’s new
In a few days, we will be able to discover the Dissidence season, which will, as always, bring its share of new features in Apex Legends. This season will not see the arrival of new cards, but Olympus will be back, in a revised version, in particular because of the arrival of Mad Maggie, which is not without consequences. A temporary game mode will also be available. We bring you a look back at all the new features of the Dissent season in Apex Legends.
Mad Maggie, new Legend
As we now know, Mad Maggie is going to integrate the Apex Games well. The Rebel Warchief was recently made official and unveiled through a trailer, before her gameplay is revealed in a gameplay video (see below). This allowed us to get a glimpse of its capabilities, which promise to be very interesting. In short, she will be able to burn enemies that are on the other side of an obstacle, see the enemies that she has damaged before and throw a ball, releasing springboards and eventually exploding.
It should be very popular with players in the weeks following its release.
New Mode, Control
Within three weeks of the release of the Dissidence season, Apex Legends players will be able to participate in Control Mode, which is similar to capture the flag. It will indeed dominate certain areas, and keep them, to score points and win the game. Everything is played with two teams of nine players, thus offering a unique gameplay.

New version of Olympus
Following the sabotage of Mad Maggie, in particular, Olympus will be slightly modified. The flying city has thus become a little larger, to offer new rotation options and no longer limit combat to certain areas. A dedicated article will also be offered very soon, mentioning all the major changes.
For the rest, we can also mention a new Battle Pass and a new ranked season. It will also be possible to collect free skin packs for certain Legends, which will also be offered to those who do not yet have them.
Dissent, the twelfth season of Apex Legends, will arrive on February 8on all platforms.
