Initially available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, Apex Legends was invited to Nintendo Switch during the year 2021, to the delight of part of the community. Meanwhile, Respawn has confirmed that mobile version was very close to its release, since the first tests were organized in certain regions, particularly in Asia.
When is the mobile version of Apex Legends coming out?
Unfortunately, no specific release date has been given, but the latest information from the developers predicts a release in 2022. Initially, we should have seen it land in 2021, but development hasn’t progressed as well as expected. But lately, things have accelerated well, since since March 2022, it is possible to pre-register, to have a chance to discover Apex Legends Mobile in preview. As a reminder, this version has been specially designed for phones, with simplified controls and careful optimizations so that the fights on the battlefield are not messy. Respawn wants to make it the “ most advanced battle royale ever released on mobile phones “.
Unlike other platforms, Apex Legends Mobile will not be cross-play since it is a standalone release. But all the principles remain the same, whether in-game or on the cosmetic side, with Battle Passes. Respawn would also like to clarify that no pay-to-win aspect will be added.
No real image of this version has yet been released, but some gameplay footage can be seen below. We’ll update this article when the developers say a bit more, including giving us a specific release date.
