The mobile release of Apex Legends is becoming clearer, and will also take place during this month of May 2022, unless the situation turns around. Jordan Patz, design director of this port, indeed explained during a recent event that we are not very far from welcoming Apex Legends Mobile.
I’m happy to report that finally Apex Legends Mobile will be coming worldwide in May.
Unfortunately, Jordan Patz didn’t give a more specific exit window. Knowing that season 13, Rescue, will be released on May 10, it is possible that the battle royale will arrive on smartphones in stride. Otherwise we will have to wait until the end of May, at most. In any case, unless there is a last minute postponement, Apex Legends Mobile will be released in May.
We also had a little more information regarding its content, since it specified that 10 Legends would be available at launch, including Wraith, Octane, Bloodhound, and Pathfinder. If some innovations can be discovered, the Edges of the World and The Canyon of the Kings maps will be included, in their classic version.
Remember that this version was created especially on mobile and will therefore not offer cross-play. The gameplay has been adapted to be more intuitive on this platform. The feedback obtained following the various tests was important to deliver the best possible version of Apex Legends Mobile.
