Until then, the only way to solve the problem was to unplug and replug the screen and hope that the problem does not reappear too quickly. But a note obtained by MacRumors proves that Apple is well aware of the problem and, good news, has a solution: just unplug the screen, wait 10 seconds, then plug the screen back in and hope that the problem does not reappear too quickly.

An update is coming

These audio problems are actually due to a software bug that has no fix at the moment. However, according to MacRumors, Apple is working on a new version of iOS that will fix the problem. Because yes, the screen runs under the same operating system as the iPhone. We can therefore hope that a new version of the software will automatically eliminate these small problems.

This is not the first problem encountered by Apple’s Studio Display. The quality of the webcam has also left a lot of customers unhappy and recent software updates haven’t really improved the situation. No firm date regarding the deployment of a possible audio patch has been communicated by Apple. In the meantime, if you have problems with your Studio Display, check that it is running on the latest OS available and check for new updates in the coming weeks.
