(Boursier.com) — Apple the Californian giant from Cupertino, which now gives priority importance to artificial intelligence, has reportedly held preliminary discussions with the Chinese group Baidu about its AI products. At least that’s what the Wall Street Journal believes it knows, which explains that the designer of the iPhone could need a local partner in China to navigate through regulatory obstacles. Thus, the Apple group would consider using the Chinese group’s generative AI technologies in its devices in China. This is, notes the WSJ, a new effort by Apple to expand its capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence.
