It is once again behind closed doors that Apple will offer a wave of announcements about new products: we are waiting for your predictions and expectations in the comments, by Tuesday 7 p.m.!

A new iPhone, already?

If it is less important than that of the return to school, Apple’s traditional spring keynote is nonetheless awaited by both fans and journalists, not to mention the curious watching with an attentive eye what the Apple firm could well book us in the coming weeks.

The announcement that should make the biggest impression should be that of the new iPhone SE, the outlines of which have already been detailed in the press on several occasions. With the arrival of 5G, this “low-cost” iPhone, still running at around €500, is a good entry point for those wishing to get started on iOS.

But the iPhone SE will not be the only star of the keynote, since Apple also has other surprises in store, especially on the iPad side, with a new version of the Air. The Apple tablet will play in duet with the MacBook, which would in all likelihood benefit from a new house chip, the M2, and therefore from a significant power gain. Enough to turn the head of many minds with a lot of figures and pretty visuals. Finally, if you have a kidney for sale (or you’re a professional), no doubt you should be charmed by the new Mac screen, the announcement of which is also in the pipes.

Ukraine in sight

Apple will also be widely observed because of the obvious proximity between this keynote, which the firm did not wish to postpone, and the war currently raging in Ukraine.

The manufacturer has already announced the suspension of sales of its devices in Russia, in response to the invasion orchestrated by Vladimir Putin, but also the cessation of support for Apple Pay. Additionally, Apple Maps now displays Crimea as a Ukrainian province, and apps from Russia Today and of sputnik
have been removed from the App Store.

Positions that the company headed by Tim Cook should once again affirm… unless the keynote was recorded much earlier.

Despite its obvious lesser importance, Apple’s spring 2022 edition keynote is therefore an event awaited at the turn. What do you expect in particular? We are waiting for your answers in the comments!
