The top of the Apple Pencil 2 features a touch sensor that lets you do different things with a double tap. Here’s how to customize the gesture.
There is a touch surface on the top of the Apple Pencil 2, i.e. the side where the tip is. It responds to a double tap and then performs an appropriate action. There are several options as to what action to take when performing the gesture. You can change the action in the iPad settings.
You can choose, for example, to quickly switch from the drawing pen to the eraser or change the pen color.
