Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple One: Apple raises prices

Like many streaming services, Apple has just announced the increase in the monthly price of several subscriptions, for new and existing customers, including Apple TV+, Apple News+ (only in the United States) and Apple Arcade. Apple One subscribers are also affected.

Apple TV+, News+ and Arcade increase their prices

This is the first time Apple has increased its prices for Apple Arcade and Apple News+, and only the second time for Apple TV+. In detail, the Apple TV+ subscription goes from €6.99 to €9.99 per month, Apple News+ from $9.99 to $12.99 per month and Apple Arcade from €4.99 to €6.99 per month.

Apple TV+ is the streaming service from the Cupertino company. It notably offers series labeled “Apple Originals” such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Severance And Shrinking. Since its creation, the subscription price has only changed once, in 2022, when its cost increased from €4.99 to €6.99 per month.

Apple Arcade, for its part, offers its subscribers unlimited access to a catalog of games on iPhone, iPad and Mac. As for Apple News+, only available for the United States, it allows its users to access more than 300 publications, some of which require an individual subscription, such as Wall Street Journal.

3 euros more per month for Apple One

Apple also offers a subscription that combines several of its services, Apple One. The monthly price of these offers has also increased, as follows:

  • Subscription Individualwhich includes 50 GB iCloud+ storage, Apple TV+, Apple Music and Apple Arcade, goes from €16.95 to €19.95 per month.
  • Subscription Familywhich offers 200 GB iCloud+ storage, Apple TV+, Apple Music and Apple Arcade, goes from €22.95 to €25.95 per month.
  • Subscription Premiumwhich includes 2 TB iCloud+ storage, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+ goes from €31.95 to €34.95 per month.

The prices of the revised upward subscriptions are already modified on the various Apple sites, indicating that the new prices are already effective for new customers. For existing customers, they should occur within 30 days, according to MacRumors.
