A private family ceremony is expected to be held shortly. It was in 1944 that the actress obtained her first contract to play in the film haunting by George Cukor. She will be nominated for the Oscars in 1945 for obtaining the title in the category of supporting roles. Barely 21 years old, Angela Lansbury is a second time nominated for an Oscar for his performance in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
